What is the final price of a HelioWing after installation?
We work with certified integrators who install our systems and lay foundations, but they all have different price models and labor costs. Therefore, it is virtually impossible to give a reliable price for the system installation. Once we reach a point where we have a reliable average price per state, we will make this information publicly available on our website. What level of snow and wind loads can a HelioWing withstand?
The main steel structures of both the HelioWing 5 and 7 are made with high-quality 50 KSI steel that can withstand 6,000 pounds of direct force and 150 MPH wind speeds. With 50 PSF ground snow, the systems can withstand 120 MPH wind speeds.
We now offer a Hurricane HelioWing upgrade to 100 KSI American steel that is rated to withstand 175 MPH wind speeds and Category 5 Hurricane winds. Please contact a World4Solar Sales Representative at office@world4solar.com for more information.
Do you offer financing for HelioWing?
We currently only offer business to business financing through BlueTape, but do not offer consumer financing. Some of our Certified Integrators offer their own financing to end customers, however.
Are there HelioWing installers in my area?
We are adding new Certified Integrators every day to our ever-growing nationwide Certified Integrator network! We currently have Integrators ready to install in California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina and Texas. All World4Solar Certified Integrators are licensed to perform the installation work and have undergone both online and technical training with the installation team installing a HelioWing. What are the HelioWing warranties?
The warranties available are the standard manufacturer warranties as follows
Battery and electric systems: 10 years
PV modules: 20 years (min. 87,8% capacity)
EV charger: 3 years.
World4Solar main steel structure: 20 years
Additionally, to maintain the battery warranty, we have built-in heating and cooling mechanisms built into the main steel structure.
How long does the installation of a HelioWing take?
The installation of our systems typically takes one day or less when performed by one of our Certified Integrators. The setup of a foundation is required prior to that and takes another day to do with one more day for it to fully dry. So, the overall time can be as short as 3 days from drilling to an operating system.
How do I get permits for the installation of a HelioWing?
World4Solar offers standardized permitting packages for the structure and electrical parts as an included service with every order. However, site-specific permitting must be done by an eligible person.
Is the HelioWing qualified for tax incentives?
DISCLAIMER: As of 10-15-2025, the Trump legislation cancelled the tax incentives for residential solar projects.
Yes. The HelioWing, if equipped with Solar Panels and an inverter, is qualified for the Federal ITC (Investment Tax Credit) of 30% and can be combined with additional, state-specific tax credits and utility incentive programs.
Can I purchase the HelioWing main structure only?
Yes. You are free to only purchase the main structure and equip it with your components of choice, although we highly recommend using components offered by World4Solar, as the system was tested and refined with these components in use. Further, our Certified Integrators only use said components during installation trainings. Therefore, warranties might only apply if you choose components offered by World4Solar.
